All of our Border Collies are registered with the American Border Collie Association, as will be your puppy. We only have two dams and one sire, and all of these you can see free-ranging on the farm on any given day. They are truly members of our family.

Choosing Your Best Friend
Each dog breed has unique needs. Border Collies are happiest with land and animals (or people) to protect. If you are looking for a full-time inside dog, a border collie may not be the best choice. Given lots of exercise, attention and a bit of training, these puppies will easily become the best dogs you've ever owned.
Some are higher drive, some are lower. Meeting the pups will give you a better idea of temperament and energy levels. Although this isn't a hard rule, females tend to be more assertive and independent with better herding instincts while males are generally more loving and mild, attention-seeking and less animal/herding driven. Females will generally be 30-35 lb, males 35-40. Smooth coats will provide less shedding while the rough-coats have a classic, easy-to-fall-in-love-with appearance.

This is our Sire, Blue (He has striking blue eyes!). Rough coat red merle, the sweetest, most lovable dog anyone's ever met. If you stop by for a visit, you will see for yourself. He is definitely our official 'farm greeter'.
